FREE PATTERN: One-Skein Cowl

Anyone else have TONS of random skeins of yarn that you're not quite sure what to do with?

Feel like a quick project to start using up those wayward skeins?

Boy, have I got a pattern for you!

This is a pretty, simple, oh so cozy scarf perfect for clearing out your yarn drawer. All it takes is 200 yarns! And it's just as simple as it is comfy! (Hint...that means it's super simple!)

Materials
1 skein worsted weight yarn - 200 yards (I used Bernat Waverly)
H (5.00mm) crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Cowl
1. Loosely ch 164. Dc in 2nd chain from hook and each across. [162]
2-11. Ch 2, turn. Dc in each stitch across. [162]
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Put short sides together and sew them up using the long tail.
Weave in ends.

That's it! You could easily add a twist by twisting the cowl before you sew it up, like in my Easy Twisted Cowl.

Enjoy the free pattern - I would love to see pictures if you make it!

Happy crocheting!!
